Tump of Beech Trees

A 'tump' of trees in the middle of a bleak area of countryside. Taken with my Smena Symbol. A great camera that I hardly ever use and needs gifting to someone who will appreciate it!

    Dear ROARINGTREE.
Your photos always attract attention. They are unusual. So here is this photo too. But I was especially struck by your text. Because, once upon a time, when I was still in school, my parents gave me exactly the same camera that you write about Smena Simbol. Since then I have had my own camera. And I really liked her. She was cooler than Smena 8m! And most importantly, I had the opportunity to print photographs for everyone. Both boys and especially girls and parents and teachers and... everyone was happy about those photographs. Many years later. All these years those photographs have been with us. I see them in the albums of my childhood friends. Recently I gave them a new life digitally. And they settled in the accounts of many of my friends. True, sometimes it’s very sad when you want to look at these photographs with those people who are no longer there....
So, I decided to help you, find "good hands" for this camera. I told you my story. And I’m sending you a link to a review article about cameras Smena of that generation. Maybe all this material will help someone become happier. Yes, I think it’s especially important too. The Smena Symbol camera, which I told you about, is still in working order, but I have her on a well-deserved rest....

@awa-awa Thank you so much for the link. It was a very interesting read about this solid old camera! I wish more cameras relied on mechanical features rather than electronic ones as some very good cameras from the 1970's do not stand the test of time like this one! Thank you again my friend :-)
