I am a 50 year old lover of cats and photography. I have been shooting digital since 2010, mainly focusing on urbex shots. I resumed taking film photos when I found my childhood camera in September of 2023. I'm currently learning how to shoot urbex on film which can be challenging. I'm also getting into other types of photography. Some of my cameras I found at a local trading post. The others I have got for cheap on eBay or in the instance of the Polaroid Now + and Holga 120, purchased new. I have struggled with the Smena 8m and plan to get an external rangefinder for it. The Canonet is a reliable camera that can be counted on to take good photos in most conditions. Therefore it is a good camera for more casual shooting. I have brought the Holga on a couple of shoots but they were B&W rolls and I am waiting for my friend to set up a darkroom in his basement.
