Deep in the woods.

A photo shot with the Seagull TLR deep in the woods a couple of years back. Rainy, dark, cold and a lonely place. With AI I amplified the eerie atmosphere of the scenery. Using AI, which I discovered this week as a "photo tool", may be a divicive issue in this community, howeverI I liked to use AI which could lead to new creative horizons. I still use my analogue photos and changes are based on my ideas and my creativity. So I feel still quite lomographic about it. Anyway - your critics and comments are welcome

@schwarzesauge The process is quite simple but can be time consuming: 1. You upload you scanned negative to the KI (gemini). 2. You add a text with "instruction" what you would like to change, add or get rid of in the phot. 3. You change as long as you are happy with the results - however; it it is "too much for the AI" it will notify - there are limits with the AI. For this example I just asked to place a transparent face into the photo - the first versions were not ok for me but after the fourth attempt I was (quite) happy. Not sure to which extend I will use it in the future; but feel, that it can indeed open new ways of creativity. Thanks for the exchange. Rgds Rolf

Very interesting! Photography or not, I'm not the one to decide. Photography is a form of visual art and any modification of it that is guided by a human hand with the help of technology remains art. It's good to embrace the new as long as it helps us express ourselves in the visual arts. Well done!
