Camera Test Pentona II

I found this sympathic compact and simple camera on a flea market recently. It was almost unused and came with a mint original leather bag. The boy who sold it just wanted 5 Euro for it...I gave 10. It was the camera of his grandfather who lived in the former GDR. The Pentona II is a simple compact camera built in the former GDR between 1963 and 1972 and was quite popular (Pentagon manufactures Dresden). Three times (30760/125) and B - that's; it and it seems to be sufficient: Even though the Domiplan lenses (Meyer Optic Görlitz) 2.8/45mm seems to be not very sharp (far distance), they paint dreamy images - in particular the landscape photos are appealing. Handling is easy and fun. Test passed I think; for me a real lomo camera. For the test I loaded an expired Ferrania 100 with just 12 frames on the roll (got 15 out of it) and took some shots in the close surrounding of my home!
