Marl-Hüls 1972

These will most likely be the last old slides I will clean and scan. (unless there are still some hiding somewhere). They were all in a quite poor state. Stored for almost 50 yrs in different boxes and basements and framed in glass frames, they showed some signs of decay so to say. So I had to carefully remove them and clean them for the scan. The shots were done by me in 1972 when I was just 19. The first batch is a "documentary" of my old home town Herten-Westerholt (part of it I uploaded already some time ago in this album) and four shots in the neighbouring town of Marl-Hüls. Part of these photos were even published in the local newspaper (those of the fire brigade). The second batch (still to be scanned) are shots of a motor cycle road trip to Brussels with a friend. At that time I was shooting either with an Exa Exakta 1A or a Photo Porst SLR.
