Minaret

The minaret, built at the end of the 16th century, originally belonged to the Khetuda mosque, which after the Turkish occupation became a Catholic church and then a hospital, and was finally demolished in 1841. The tower suffered a similar fate, but was saved as a monument. It is of exceptional value, one of the few minarets to have survived the centuries intact in Hungary.
