greetings from le corbusier

a few weeks ago i uploaded some architecture shots of one of the logest buildings in europe: www.lomography.fr/homes/bloomchen/albums/1984550-housing-co…
this time it a le corbusier building which is somehow hidden behind trees and the s-bahn. it´s only a few meters away from the olympiastadium in berlin. and i have been there several time but coming from the s-bahn you can´t see the building. a guy told me about the building several months ago so i looked where exactly the building is and i was pretty much surprised. the name of the bulding is Unité d'Habitation. inside are 530 appartments on 17 floors. here is a list: 5 Wohnungen mit 1 Zimmer (30,5m²)

    In my first year of university we made a trip to Marseille to visit the first Unité d'Habitation. We even had the chance to get inside. It is a fantastic buiding with many social interesting concepts. Great that you got interested on it!

    @marta1901 i love such buildings. would really like to get myself a shot similar to the andreas gursky shot of the montparnasse building. but it´s impossible in analogue. and gursky made the famous pic aout of several others irrc.

    @bloomchen oh yeah, Gursky is a genious. I also got to know him in my university days, but I guess I have not been ambitious enough to try and get a similar pic yet haha. I hope you continue to shoot architecture icons, Berlin couldn´t be more interesting in this aspect! #fan

    Very, very good pictures ! In my school exams Le Corbusier and Mies van der Rohe had been the main themes! It was impressing and it is still today !
