Hold your horses

I am grain's biggest fan and a huge proponent of pushing film to get a gritty texture. Back then I wanted to pair this rocky texture with portraits and statues as a combining element, bringing these two subjects closer together. Currently I am looking back through my archive and got to say I am still quite pleased how my intent translated onto this image.
