    @oleman Indeed. That image has been in my mind for years but I thoght it was a print. Finding that slide in a jumble was a godsend.

    Amazing, and the ones with Sukarno in another album. That was a period of such world historical ferment it seems amazing you could just stand there and snap a president! Were you an official of some sort, or just a bystander?

    @sandersoftheriver I was drafted and ended up in Washingtlon DC with a Top Secret clearance and assignment to G2. Several of us were required to attend official arrivals. Photography was not part of my brief, just a personal decision that no one questioned..
