My first B&W images with the Yashicamat 124G. Shoot a few rolls of the Kodak T-Max 400 and the Lomo B&W 100 film and developed them myself. For the first time, that I developed b&w film myself I am pretty happy with the results.
The images were taken in December in Paris.
So I was able to shoot two more rolls with my new Belair this weekend. We got a good amount of snow over the weekend in Paris and it was a good opportunity to go out and take some images. However this Belair is driving me crazy. Out of 12 images (all 6x12) I got 3 good ones and both rolls were "fat rolls" so I have some images with heavy light leaks (3 of them were unusable). On top of it, i have these weired with dots in the center of some images and I have no idea why they are there. I had big expectations in the Belair but for the moment I am deeply dissapointed with the results and the camera. I bought it cause I want to shoot 6x12 b&w long exposure images here in Paris at night. When I noticed that there was no option to attach a shutter release cable, it made my project nearly impossible to realize. It has a screw to mount it on a tripod but unfortunately it is on the side of the camera and as the shutter butto is on the front element of the camera (why???????????) it is impossible to trigger the camera without causing camera shake or moving the front element down thus resulting on blurry image (as the front element and the film are not plane anymore). Yeah so it could have been a great camera, but our beloved Product Develpoment Team made some crucial mistakes. I am not sure yet if I will keep it or sell it.

We had some nice sunsets lately here in Paris and I took the opportunity to take a bike-ride to the Eiffel-Tower and take some pictures.

A few impressions from the las weeks here in Paris. It's getting colder here and the weather really sucks in Paris during winter. Grey sky, cold wind and rain, but sometimes the sun comes out and then you have to enjoy every minute out there.

We got a good amount of snow here in Paris last weekend and I as I love snow I just had to go outside and take some pictures. I took my new Belair, which I wanted to test a bit more (it failed heavily on me!!) and my beloved Hasselblad. In the end I am super happy that I took the Hasselblad with me, cause nearly all of my Belair images got fucked up and it would have been a shame to return without any good images.

In March, we went to watch the art expo in shanghai. it was in a very cool building-----the ex-power station---they rebulit it as a art center.
it was a really nice day.
Compré una vieja Chinon en un mercadillo donde me dijeron que no funcionaba. La cámara si funciona pero las fotos me salieron desenfocadas porque no sabía como usarla. Además el carrete patino dentro de la cámara y salieron cosas curiosas / I was testing an old Chinon that I got from a market and the people told me that doesn´t work. The camera works but my photos are out of focus because I didn´t know how to use it well. Plus the roll slips inside and I got a curious effect.
