I really want to try out some street photography (for some of my early attempts see www.lomography.fr/homes/vince-bj/albums/2011685-very-first-…). So I got this Nikon N70 very cheap ($16!) and got an AFD lens for it. This basically means that I can auto focus and set the camera to full auto mode, or have aperture or shutter priority and so turning the camera into a point and shoot. This is so to begin with I can just focus on finding and framing a shot. So this role is set of fairly random shot to test the camera lens, some are repeats of shots I took with other cameras for a comparison of focusing. The only thing is didn’t choose a very good film to test with. I used Slide film, which doesn’t give much leeway on exposure plus it’s one of the last batches of Kodak Elite Chrome ever made, so it’s a bit of a decadent test roll. Hope to do some street photography over the holidays.
THIS SHOT=Full auto focus and exposure. Some faces are over exposed. Can’t help thinking a 100 ISO color negative would have coped with the light conditions better.
