My friend Buddy Ching is not just a great painter but also an inspiring performance artist. Wearing a mask made of pili shells and wires which he himself made, he did this awe-inspiring performance with his installation art at the front lawn of the St. Agatha Resort. While he was connecting each piece, a Baguio artist recited his poem in the center of light bulbs lying on the grass. Took these portraits of Buddy after the performance as other photographers took turns in taking close-up shots. This set is part of my experiment on creative framing.
