Sasha was my host in Lairg, located in Northern highlands. She and her whole family were really so nice and gave me a lot of tips of what to see and visit in the area during my stay. I stayed 10 days there and they agreed to some portraits before I left, so here they are :)

Nice. Is that lens meant to give such wonderful bokeh, or were you using a really wide aperture?

@honeygrahams224 I shot wide open (f1.7) indeed, and that's how you got the best bokeh from many lenses, and this one performs very well :)

Cool. I usually only use a wide-angle lens, so I don't get that bubbly bokeh. Experimenting with a few recently acquired ones right now, so I will see how it goes. ^__^

@honeygrahams224 the best results are achieved with larger lenses, from 50mm and over, and with a very large aperture (below f2)
