We took the bus up to Pagudpud and loaded our bags on a trike where we took a short ride to the resort. Kapuluan Vista Resort was a beaut despite being under renovation. We had the place to ourselves, we ate their organic home-grown food, we drank their local wine, we swam in their pool, rented their surfboards (well Alex did), surfed their waves (well Alex did), and stuffed ourselves silly with Vigan longganisa, pancakes and scrambled eggs peppered with basil.
It was R&R for the books, and I came back home to Manila with the prettiest ring :)
