The yellow filter you used. Did it fit into the Cintar lens, or did you use another way over the lens? I am curious if there was a size filter for the C-3's Cintar lens.

All Argus C3 Pre-standard cameras have the same threaded lens front. I don't think the filter adapters are made anymore, but the older ones can be had via ebay, or FilterFind, etc. I use a Series 5 filter dropped into that adapter, held in by a retaining ring. Usually the adapter & retaining ring come as a unit. I use yellow & red filters mostly, but I do have, & used on occasion, green, blue, & orange. It seems that different camera makers, Ciroflex, Nikon, Kodak, etc., need different size filters. When I get another camera, the hunt commences for the correct set of filters. I've got a Petri Automate (1958) that needed 47mm filters, but I could get 52mm filters cheaper, so I picked up a 47mm to 52mm adapter. No muss, no fuss. Thanks for asking.
