    Your BandW's were about shapes. Now it seems its all about the color. Really nice. What film are you using for color? Thanks.

    @philr Thank you much!

    I look at things and see lines, shapes, colors and I compose according to that. It's my brain trying on abstractions :) And I think a part of it is that in my brain, sometimes, the color trumps everything else. If I can get all three, that’s awesome, but I’ll settle for whatever I can get. Dear lord that sounds pompous as f*** but not meant that way.

    I mean this image a rather bland/mundane (a word I am busy working out into a Lomo note), and if it wasn't for the color trimmings on the house, I would have never even given it a thought. Sure there are some elements that would make it an interesting B/W image, but to be honest, it wouldn’t amount to much. At least that’s how I see it. Pun so intended :)

    For color film I mainly use twenty year expired Kodak E100 in its many versions (S, SW etc) that I shoot at box speed then cross process in C41 developer. I only shoot on sunny days to get the colors to come alive. I’ve shot a bit on overcast days and I just don’t get results that please me.
    This is a hybrid process for me as printing color images in the dark room is really intense and difficult. So once processed, I scan and see if there’s anything to be done with the images.

    But fear not, the B/W is coming back with a vengeance in couple of months. I spent a week in Barcelona a few weeks backs and I just started developing and scanning and brother, we’re getting into some seriously retina hurting contrast and grain :)
