    What is the connection between Wismar and all the pig statues? 🐖

    @briany The bridge is called "Schweinsbrücke", probably in the Middle Ages pigs were driven to market here. The sculptor Christian Wetzel created four different little bronze pigs at the end of the 1980s, which sit there on the posts of the bridge.🐖🐖🐖🐖

    @guja Ahhh.... that makes total sense! I had done a quick Wiki search on the history of Wismar and saw no mention of pigs so I was wondering. I love those bronze pigs! 🐖🐖🐖
