   Ewww. With mine, I want to get into the handle and untangle the ripcord, I can only get about half a pull out of it. (the reason why I bought the Motorizer)

   @alienmeatsack @alburnkat Thanks for the empathy! The good news is the motorizer probably works without the hood in the event I can't find a working fix.

   @emperornorton Repeatedly, since the first day I got it. The final blow came from cramming it into my camera bag. It survived with super glue for a while and now I'm trying a UV curing plastic weld. I'll keep everyone posted on how that works out :-D

   @albaker Thanks! I hope the fix is sturdy enough to be packed into my camera bag without being too gentle.
