Sandhill Cranes

Looking for early Autumn color at Kensington Metropark with a walk around their Wildwing Lake. I was watching a collection of Cranes, Geese and Ducks out by the Island, but because all I had with me were cameras with wide lenses I didn't think I'd get any good shots. That was until these two flew right at me and forced me to back up onto shore. It was amazing.

Thank You, I couldn't believe when they flew right up in front of me, I was "wow, this is great", then they started to walk towards me and again I couldn't believe how much closer they where getting. I figured this is their home and I should get out of their way, all the time still shooting and hoping I'm getting a good focus with the old Argus C3 rangefinder.
