Inen Rusnan (in the middle)

opening the commemorate Asia Afrika conference Days 3 with beat the percussion. It's the best honour of photographer that I ever snap with my film camera. Inen Rusnan was the youngest photographer who documenting a very historical moment in my hometown, Bandung, Indonesia : Konferensi (confrence) Asia-Afrika in 1955. At that time, Rusnan was 17 years old, and has given a big responsibilities to capture the conference which aim to strengthen the support between the country which want to have freedom from colonialism also as a non-blok (not involve) at cold war which was a very "hot world war" at that time. And 59 years later I saw his "fire" when snaping the "fun" Asia Afrika conference commemorate event.
