Loyola University Bell Tower

It was a beautiful day in Audubon Park, New Orleans. Audbuon Park is named after John James Audubon, the American ornithologist and painter. The park is in the middle of the city of New Orleans, and is a destination for thousands of migrating birds every year, as they spend the winter in the warmer climate of Louisiana. This is my first attempt at Aerochrome, and I brought it specifically for Audubon Park. I knew all the dark green oak leaves and the blue water would turn out well for this film.

@evilpete Film Photography Project in the U S sells their own version of "aerochrome". It isn't quite the same as the original, but pretty close. They describe it as a "false color infrared film." You can buy it directly from their site... It's still really expensive though! $27 a roll.

@honeygrahams224 Thanks for the info. The price is fine (25bucks). The only reseller in europe is ran out of stocks two or tree years ago... and the price was much higher. I think I will give it a try and order some rolls, I just have to wait for my next paycheck ;) .

I am happy that you will be able to try it! The Film Photography Project will ship it with instructions on how to get the best picture with their film. For one thing, you must follow the infrared marking on your lens, and only shoot in very bright light. $25 is pretty expensive to me, so I waited and waited until the perfect time to use the film. I really want to see how yours turn out!
