These 6x4 folding cameras made by the Nagel factory in Germany for Kodak in the early 1930's are quite uncommon. Usually Vollendas are a cute little 3x4 "half frame" model but every once in a while these full frame 6x4 ones show up. This one was in beautiful shape and the shutter works well on it.....scenes from our sailboat trip last summer in Maine.
So using this tipster (http://www.lomography.com/magazine/tipster/2013/02/27/red-scale-film) I decided to make some redscale film. A friend gave me a ton of expired Riteaid brand film so I tried with a roll of that.
I shot the entire roll at 50 iso. When I went to take it out of the camera, my tape had come loose and the roll was completely rolled onto my camera spool outside of the canister. I accidentally exposed the end of the roll to light, but shockingly most of my shots were okay.
I am going to try this again with a higher ISO film as the tipster suggests. I don't really care for this film, I think its too grainy.

Bought a whole bunch of expired Kodachrome, so I needed an easy way to develop and get rid of the remjet. Turns out caffenol is a life saver! Remjet just disappeared!

The High Fens (German: Hohes Venn; French: Hautes Fagnes; Dutch: Hoge Venen), which were declared a nature reserve in 1957, are an upland area, a plateau region in the province of Liège, in the east of Belgium and adjoining parts of Germany, between the Ardennes and the Eifel highlands. The High Fens are the largest nature reserve or park in Belgium, with an area of 4,501.2 hectares (11,123 acres); it lies within the German-Belgian natural park Hohes Venn-Eifel (700 square kilometres (270 sq mi)), in the Ardennes. The reserve is a rich ecological endowment of Belgium covered with alpine sphagnum raised bogs (not "fens" as the name would imply) both on the plateau and in the valley basin; the bogs, which are over 10,000 years old, with their unique subalpine flora, fauna and microclimate, are key to the conservation work of the park.
Has anyone of you ever heard of a film called "Reinhardt Profi Color"?? I have only just heard about it for the first time as lovely lomo amiga @Lalouve sent me one. Such a cool surprise! She caught the first shots visiting a crazy flea market, with her Yashica FR1, and i took the second shots in nature, mostly among some sheep and deer with my Lomo LC-A+. Hope you enjoy our crazy doubles as much as we do!
