Nobody's Business

South Australian furniture and homewares magnate LeCornu's goes back to the 1850's. The Keswick store, operating from a re-purposed Chrysler motor vehicle assembly plant, was purported to be the largest self-serve furniture warehouse / showroom in the southern hemisphere. But nothing lasts forever. Today, the iconic LeCornu's empire is nothing but a memory to all those whom knew it for what it once was.

    @amordemar
    I appreciate your comments – thank you :D
    As for the dream like quality, this is largely a result of the film stock and processing techniques I use. I am fortunate enough to have a darkroom set up at my home so I am very much in control of the photographic process from the pressing of the shutter release to the printed photograph.
    For me, some of your photos have a dreamy appearance too – very inspiring. I look forward to seeing more or you photos.

    I like your compositions very much. I suposse you know Ed Ruscha, he is very inspiring for me. His gasoline stations and some more of his works. You have that atmosphere in some of your photos.
