Hill

I came across a wooden large format camera at Photo and camera fair a couple of weeks ago. The camera cost me 15e. Sure, I had to find a lens and film holders on top of that, but 15e! That's practically free! Decoding the cyrillic alphabet on the side of the camera I found out that the wooden apparatus was called FKD and uses 13x18 cm film (that's around 5.1"x7.1" film). Not too common sheet film form, but not altogether impossible to find either. This particular camera was manufactured in '86, so it's almost new and in good shape too. The camera was used without shutter at it's time, so I haven't bought one either (yet). These are the very first shots (can it be called a shot if there's no shutter, I wonder?) I've made with the camera.
