Kharitonovsky Garden - an English park in Yekaterinburg, adjacent to the estate of Rastorguevs - Kharitonovs. The Park has an artificial lake with two bulk Islands and round-roofed rotunda.
The outlines of the rotunda are visible from afar: it is an ornament of the park and its landmark. It was not here since the birth of the park, but was built only in 1936, during the reconstruction of the park. Before that, the Islands in the past the vegetation was nothing. In the center of the rotunda was a small fountain, but unfortunately it has long since not working.
About the Park, which was founded in the distant 1826, many legends. One of them says that under the Park territory there are underground tunnels — the remains of the secret gold mines where the gold digger and the merchant Lev Rastorguev mined precious metal.
