   Does it really? I don't know her work at all, beyond the famous shots of her kids growing up. My inspiration was the photographer Abelardo Morell, do you know his work? He travels with this demented tent with a hole and a mirror on the top ( I am NOT making this up, Matt!) and a 8x10 view camera. The mirror reflects back into the ground whatever it is he wants to shoot and he points the camera at the ground where he gets the image + the textures of the ground. Google him, it is amazing. Needless to say, the tent was not a possibility for me. So I have been sandwiching negatives for a few years now, I have a collection of textures, huge, in negatives, and then I match b&w image to a texture and superimpose them--my attempt at replicating Morell!
