My yard is pretty much awful but this flowering bush is ALWAYS one of my favorite things when spring hits. It just makes such pretty photos. I shot all of these as the sun was coming down the horizon so I got great sun through the flowers and making it glow etc in some of the shots. I used my Auto Miranda 50mm lens with 3 diopters for a +6 rating for this shoot.

    @sasamra - Thanks :D I get that close using a stack of close up lenses aka diopters. For these shots I used three with a +1, +2 and +3 rating for a +6 diopter rating which lets me get pretty close. Each of these you use on the lens reduces your depth of field some, so the more you add, the less depth of field you get... just like with a macro lens. You can ultimately stack as many of these you want onto the lens if you have them. The most I've done was 6 close up diopter filters (on another camera).
