   IR needs a filter that will block all visible light and let only iR pass. Vegetation will "bloom" only with a filter.

   You're right, I have an IR filter and like how things came out, but I was going on the advice of someone else and using just a red filter for these, which sort of works but I prefer the IR filter with this film.
