On the Magazine
A long-time fan of plastic cameras, Argentinean writer and photographer Lorraine Healy is the author of “Tricks With A Plastic Wonder,” a manual for achieving better results with a Holga camera. In this article, Healy returns to her ancient pinhole Holga and adds a 35mm pinhole to her Holga collection.
“Around the World in Analogue” is your bite-size guide to the most amazing travel destinations across the globe, as documented by the members of the Lomography community. Lomographer Montague Fendt (@montagu) explores the ancient and storied trade route: the Silk Road.
Her passion for photography stemmed from a deep bond with her father who taught her the ins and outs of operating a film camera. Now, she writes poetry not only with words but also with light. Get to know our featured community newcomer Sabrina (@rebeccared) in this brief interview.
Competitions
We've teamed up with the creators of the Indie Street Film Festival for a Cinematic Images Competition. We're looking for photographers who are able to find a balance between cinema and still photographic styles. The winner will receive two All-Access badges to the festival and a Lomography LomoKino. Read the mechanics here.
