Please tell us something about yourself and what you do.

Hello everyone. My name is Kana Fujisaki. I’m 22 years old and I live in Tokyo. I love drawing, theatrical art, movies, music, books, nature, and photography. I have just begun to explore photography so I still fail sometimes. But I’m having more fun everyday thanks to it!

How did you find the Lomography community and who or what convinced you to join?

I came across Lomography by chance. I wanted to look for photos by other film photographers so I searched the Internet and found Lomography. Being in the community looks exciting so I joined here!

Which among the 10 Golden Rules of Lomography applies to your everyday life?

Rule #10: Forget about the rules. I feel that this rule fits everything.

In this digital age, why still film?

Because I’m simply attracted to shooting film and I find it exciting. I do not understand the clear reason but I might in the future.

Your favorite analogue camera as of the moment? Why?

My partner is a Rollei35T. It is my first film camera. I enjoy using it and it makes photographs look very warm. For me, the Rollei 35T is already an indispensable part of my life.

What is the Lomographic camera you’d want to have someday?

It’s the Belair X 6-12 Trailblazer. Photograph taken with this camera are exquisite. Just the thought of owning it thrills me!

Any song or movie you live by?

This question is very difficult! My life is full of songs and movies. I like so many movies like A Trip to the Moon, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, and The Lovers From The North Pole. I like the songs of Ryuichi Sakamoto, Radiohead, Nick Drake and many more. I liked these ever since I was a child. I have too much to write here!
