Lomopedia: Lubitel 166+

The Lubitel 166+ is the modern reincarnation of the medium format twin-lens reflex cameras manufactured in Russia back in the Soviet Era.

Introduced in 2008, the Lubitel 166+ is Lomography’s loving recreation of the Soviet-era classic — inspired by the Voigtländer Brilliant, Komsomolets and the original Lubitel — but with a few upgrades. It is capable of shooting in the original 120 format, as well as shooting vertical panoramas in 35mm film, thanks to the Lubikin accessory set included in the set. It is also packed with an improved viewfinder, zone focus and standard hotshoe.
