Zhugulovskoe

Zhugulovskoe- a synonym for a shitty cheap beer you buy for you skater friends. Or it was so before the company went through rebranding few years back and I guess some quality improvements (I can’t tell, since with beer I just get drunk- that’s pretty much it). Brought to Samara in 19 century, by Alfred Josef Maria Ritter von Vacano- Austrian nobleman, who was making, well, standard Austrian beer with Russian ingredients- they say it used to be amazing back in a days, but what wasn’t amazing back in days (?)These days Zigulovskoe I guess could be compared to Stiegl- who knows
