Me and one of my oldest friends Nicolas went for another hike, this time in the gorgeous Appenzell area, walking up to the Chäserugg, a mountain of the Churfürsten chain with an amazing view on the Walensee. Complete with crazy scary cliffs and breathtaking views. Switzerland's golden autumn is unbelievable, especially coming from a few years straight living in Beijing. Hiking with a LF kit however, I only recommend it if you are as determined as I am, very heavy and leaves not much room for picknick and other essentials

Mounting the Industar 61 lens to any SLR will turn the lens into a superb macro lens. This is because the lens was not designed to work on the focal plane of an SLR. The lens is a M39 fitting to which I have added an M42 adapter and then combined with a M42 to Canon EOS adapter all available very cheaply.
I made a hiking tour from Salzburg to the Königssee an on to Golling. I had bad luck with the weather. There was rain on 2 out of 4 days, so I had to shorten the tour. But there was a really crazy thing about the rain: Shortly before sunset the rain stopped, and the sun came through. It produced really intensive, crazy colors. The photo was shot with Fuji Velvia 50, developed in E6. So what you see here, are the "natural" colors. Somehow spiritual, isn't it: The sun after the rain brings colors in your life....
Senja Island is located south-west of Tromsø and north to the Lofoten archipelago. It's less known (and visited) as the Lofoten, but it has some amazing landscapes to offer. This was without any doubt one of the most beautiful places I saw during my stay in Norway.
