Emotions and feelings : regret

Second film of our first session with Gwladys. She was too surprised by her reaction when I asked her "what do you most regret ?". So I decided to publish only this one, taken approximately one minute after my question, when she was still lost in her thoughts. The full image is too large, polluted by highlights that lead the eye to move to the top right corner. So I've cut it and discovered that the centre is near the outer corner of her eye, where the last tear is wiped. Nice split I think, that needs to be reinforced by home-print if I have time this winter. Apart from this photo, Rollei Superpan doesn't suit her, creating skin imperfections where there's none (but a good film for swap...). taken at 4pm mid-september at the edge of a wood, with Minolta X700, 70mm at f4. Self developed in R09 1+50 17 minutes at 20°C, raw scanned no retouch. Finally I think an image can express a certain poetry...
