Second Petzval Test using Atwood Plates

Last week I received an unexpected package in the mail from the incredible @clickiemcpete that contained some of his custom made aperture plates for the Petzval lens. Here are a few of my first test shots using Peter’s plates. The plates work so well and create very cool bokeh effects. I can’t thank you enough Peter! <3 (www.lomography.fr/homes/clickiemcpete)

Wonderful album, Atwood bokeh effects!! I wish LSI had the foresight to make the Petzval in M42 mount or T mount with adapters for everything, give it a real 9 blade aperture, and just put a slot with cover for Atwood plates behind the aperture. That would make it PERFECT. Waterhouse stops are totally 1840 and just lame! This is a pet peeve...
