Abandoned my plan and started travelling for real

First week in India. Disaster struck. Bad weather around Allahabad forced Spice Jet to cancel my flight. No rescheduling. No alternative arrangement. No hotel. No nothing.

That's "normal" for New Delhi airport, apparently. But not for me. In the face of 3rd world customer service, I started acting like a local, and it worked! They agreed to fly me out of ND for free. But where to? A colleague once told me that a place called Kerala is nice. So I pointed my finger vaguely at the South, not knowing what to expect. And, Oh my, what a great great adventure it turned out to be :-)
