My first self developed colour roll and my first X-Processed film. I thought I wrecked the film when it came out blue and foggy. The fog went away during drying, and the colour seemed to scan well.
Finally I've done! A monorail large format 5x7 camera. Made from laser cut plywood, glue and a lot of patience. Making the bellow is the real nightmare :P

Here are some shots I took with my Hanimex Mini 218. I was running Lomo Color Tiger 110 film through it while on vacation in Arizona with dad.
Not too bad for a basic 110. I can't wait to get my 110SLR and try out some Lomo 110.
my cousin, a figure skater who practices on the ice and works-out everyday, spent half of the day running on the beach during her shoot... poor old me, who barely works out, had to chase her around on sand and sharp rocks with three cameras while the sun was beating down on us... i got home and had to pass out from exhaustion... the results aren't as sharp since i barely had time to adjust the focus but i like the results anyway!

I am back and have decided to give Lomography another go.
I was bored one night and itching to shoot. My boyfriend's apartment looks so much like a set from one of David Lynch's movies, courtesy of his roommate, so I decided to do a David Lynch- inspired photo shoot.

James and I drove to San Diego on Thursday to spend some quality time with family and so I could test out my Lomochrome Purple that came in the mail this week. I ended up shooting Brenda's senior portraits as well. It was a great weekend. I love this girl.
I met Shannon in May. We had only four days together before I had to return to Australia. The night of the fourth day I told her I was in love with her. Long distance phone calls and email and Skype followed, for two or three months, before I put enough money back into my account to buy a ticket to visit her in New York again. I returned in August, and a week into my trip I suggested we walk the High Line: "If tomorrow is a nice day", I think I said. Well, tomorrow was a very nice day, and so we bought iced coffee and caught the subway to Chelsea. We wandered the whole length of the old railway in the sun, me lugging a C330 that I hadn't yet used, and trying not to think too much about the diamond ring that I'd snuck out and bought from a jeweler in Nolita the day before, and which was now sitting inside a felt box in my pocket. Halfway back along the High Line, we stopped in the shade. She leaned against the railing, and I took her hand, and pulling the ring box from my pocket I told her that even though we'd only spent a total of twelve days in each others' company, I wanted to share the rest of my life with her. I opened the box and asked her to marry me. She said yes.
