Capela da Nossa Senhora do Monte, popularly called as the Chapel of our Lady of the Mount, sits on a hill called Monte Santo on the east side of the Old Goa World Heritage Site.
The Portuguese set up base camp here when they undertook their conquest of Goa in 1510.
With beautiful views of surroundings, this is a must visit for all.
visiting the city of Jaipur catapults us back in time to a historical era when architecture was grand in scale..these are a few icons of jaipur.....the puppets mimicking the royals of the city....!!!....some here believe these puppets to possess the spirits of their royal ancestors..!!!...stare into their eyes and be sure to be haunted for a long time..!!!
I would call this my best lomograph till date simply for the Jaipur style that these puppets show.....royalty and color...!!..

This lion watches over a house at Corjuem.....aged over time, it appears camouflaged,blurry and quiet from afar and roars into life as we approach..!!...

It is one is one of my best Lomographs.. because the imagery reflects a kind of haunting spirit of this structure, that still domineers over the city today.

goa does not have much stark contrasts like the rest of India..
This bridge over the river at Corjuem, a quiet village in the north of Goa, presents the rarity here..modernity that is this cable stayed bridge with its dominant imagery of flying cables...intimidating the very slow and traditional atmospherics of sleepy lazy Corjuem.
Well it has been some time since my last album (about 3 weeks :)) but here i am again! I have moved back to Helsinki and all my stuff has arrived as well. I took my Holga out as the day was sunny finally! Got some great shots and here they are now!
Holga 120 N camera with Ilford Delta 3200 pushed one stop when developing. I had a Pocket Wizard on the hot shoe of the Holga control one Alien Bee B800 with a medium sized Octobox (basically one studio light). It really was a blast controlling a studio light with a Holga!
Ah, the wonders of the yellow filter on my AGFA Clack. Rather than having an actual different aperture for sunny versus cloudy weather, the Clack "features" (and I use that term loosely) a yellow filter for sunny days. In this case, I am enamored by the results. In some other photos, not so much.
This photo was taken high above Narragansett Bay on the cliffs of Ft. Wetherill State Park. That's the shore of Newport, RI in the distance. It was a scary thought that the cliffs were marked with signs warning "No Diving". Anyone willing to dive from this height into these waters is much braver (stupider?) than me.
Created using my 1950's AGFA Clack with Kodak Lumiere LPZ 120 100X slide film of unknown expiration. Positive (slide) scanned with an HP Scanjet 4890.
