After years of dark-room bliss I had to pack away my photography stuff in order to concentrate on my studies (Emergency medicine is rather unforgiving when it comes to hobbies) - Now that I am done though, I've picked my camera up again and fallen in love once more. I've always been an analogue junkie, doing everything by hand from developing to printing. The control freak in me loves that level of control that you have over the art when you do everything by yourself. Those were days of black and white for me though. My boyfriend recently taught me about Lomography, and it instantly caught my attention. Not having money to spend on a Lomography camera, I have taken to using my Minolta XG-M and my Olympus OM-2 to create Lomo-style photos. With a bit of saving I aim to get myself a Diana Edelweiss (because she is oh-so-pretty!) and take it from there. My first batch- soon to be posted- are being developed, so we'll see how that goes!
