"Bonus material: Behind the scenes..."

How this album was made: First exposure was of the sparkly artshop cards shown here, cut and glued into an abstract shape. (It was actually just a random composition, but my daughter said it looked like a keyhole, so I rolled with that...). The whole roll was shot close up so the composition filled the frame, and the cards were placed in direct sunshine to enhance the sparkles. The second layer was then the random subjects you see in the album. Both exposures were taken with the exposure compensation on my trusty Pentax P50 (seen here) set to -1 (i.e. one stop underexposed). My first go with this sparkle effect, if you're interested, is available here: www.lomography.fr/homes/buckshot/albums/1897290-sparklespro… And the sprocket holes...? Well, they're the result of a homemade mask placed inside the camera, as first deomonstrated in my album here: www.lomography.fr/homes/buckshot/albums/1889661-introducing… Thanks for reading (and looking, and liking!) ;-)

P.S. This is a 're-enactment' shot for demonstration purposes - there was obviously no camera shadow on the card when I exposed the first layer ;-)
