The monument to Yeltsin is a monument to the first President of the Russian Federation, the Soviet party and Russian political and public figure, one of the founders of post-Soviet Russia Boris Yeltsin in Yekaterinburg, the regional center of his small homeland and the city of his many years of residence and activity.

The monument is located on Boris Yeltsin Street in the business quarter of Yekaterinburg City in the city center in front of the Demidov-Plaza congress hall where the Yeltsin Memorial Information Presidential Center, supervised by the State Foundation "Boris Yeltsin's Presidential Center" and the Charitable Foundation " Ural Center Boris N. Yeltsin "(a branch of the Fund of the First President of Russia BN Yeltsin).

The monument is a ten-meter high white marble stele-obelisk with a bas-relief of Yeltsin in full growth on a dark gray pedestal on the steps to the platform in front of the Demidov-Plaza. It is noted that the image of Yeltsin is directed forward and with a look and a glance, and the marble and the shape of the monument are well suited to the Ural climate.

The author of the monument is the Moscow sculptor Georgy Frangulyan, who also created a tombstone on the grave of Yeltsin.

According to the author, "White marble was chosen, and not traditional bronze or granite, because it is a living, translucent material; This monument is not an obelisk, but a lump, a block in motion, like Boris Nikolayevich. "
