Aerochrome Magic

These are my first Aerochrome photos. I used a red filter. Not quite how I thought they would turn out, but I still like them. Feel free to provide some advice if I am doing something wrong.

Where did you find that film? I've looked here in Toronto but can't even find BW IR film. All I find is the almost IR from Ilford.

Nice! I don't have any advice, but I did do some research, looked at all the Aerochrome pictures and tipsters here and on flickr before I shooting my first roll, and tried to see what makes color IR pictures truly unique :) Does it make a beautiful thing prettier or a dreamy setting even more outlandish? Does it help to highlight the plants from the background and accentuate their shapes?

Try a model with foliage and flowers... do a medium or dark yellow filter to block all blue light and you are all set. Shoot at 320-400 ISO on medium yellow, 160-200 ISO on dark yellow. Anyway, you have a wonderful photo!!
