Just a camera test really but it threw up a handful of quite nice images. Yashica Samurai half frame, I tried it in various different light situations and not once did i fool the meter. It hurts to say it but i think this thing is superior to my olympus pens! Nice piece of kit.

@charliedontsurf ok this is a cool shot. Never thought of pulling this off in an action foto. Youre right about the camera, this is a pretty tough lighting situation to get right

@mike1allison yeah, I really was just putting the camera through its paces, not thinking much. Here I rested the butt of the cue on the rail while holding the camera in my right hand. The composition was pretty good all things considered, didn't quite line up the shot properly though, I think I'd have missed!

Nice grain; interesting 1/2 frame compositions. Just finished my first rolls of Pulverantilist's Choice No. 1. We shall see how these turned out in my Canon Sketchbook(aka Snappy Q) and my Holga 135BC.

@neufotomacher thanks. If you need any tips regarding pc1 just ask. Basically though just be sure to develop the shit out of it.

So, not just conventional 12 minute time with inversions every 30 seconds, first minute solid agitation?

@neufotomacher shoot at iso200. Rodinal 1+50 , 15 minutes minimum, recently I've been leaving for twenty minutes but I am looking for something in the darkroom. Agitation is 20 seconds or so initially then a few turns every other minute or whenever you can remember, maybe your 12 minutes with stricter agitation would work just as well. Alternatively it works well with a 2 hr semi stand for iso 200 up to 400, beyond 400 I think it needs a different developer as things get a bit muddy. It pulls nicely too, 100 iso, 1hr semi stand is good if the light is very harsh.

I just been reading the effects of different developers on film. Lots to experiment. I just got a gallon of D-76 that I need to dilute 1:9 too.
