The Ultimate Konstruktor Customization From Tokyo

6

During my trip to Tokyo last week, I had the pleasure to meet with Naga-san, who has won our Konstruktor Customization Contest in Japan, by showcasing the ultimate Konstruktor modification that truly expands the Konstruktor’s capability…

Naga-san worked as a product designer and currently a freelance creator in Tokyo, Japan. He completed the most elaborate modification of the Konstruktor I have seen so far – built-in Flash, auto rewinder powered by a motor, larger aperture, film window on the backdoor, hand-built handgrip, a filed down winding knob, brighter viewfinder, metal parts for the camera strap, screws for filter and finder hood, cable release hole. The result is stunning. Naga calls this the “Konstruktor N”. Watch the video below (Japanese only, but you can see a demonstration of the camera by Naga-san himself).

You can see some hands-on photos I took in our Tokyo office below:

And you can see some making-of photos taken by Naga-san below:

You can now see the photos taken by this Konstruktor below:

This is truly inspiring, congratulations Naga, big kudos! Visit Naga-san’s blog that explains the whole project in further details here:
