Three Nights in New York City

7

Here are a few spots in New York City that the average tourist (I) shouldn’t (didn’t) miss.

We only had four days to visit New York and we decided to make things simple: ‘let’s visit the most classic spots and keep our little eyes open on our way in between them.’ We stayed at the Carlton Arms Hotel. I went there years ago with my brother and loved it each time. It’s cheap, well situated, and fabulous inside. But I won’t kill the surprise if you wanna stay there. Note that it’s not the cleanest place you will have ever stayed; it’s more of ‘back-packer-it’s-ok-if-the-bathroom-stinks-a-bit’ type of situation. But believe me it’s REALLY worth a visit.

So here are the spots, each one with a Google map link if you have any mobile-GPS-thingy, and a gallery of photos. Cameras used were: Holga 120 GN, Horizon Perfekt, Moskva 5, Rolleimatic, Super-sampler and Holga WPC. Processes used were: Normal E6, C41 XPro, B&W and Hybrid (HPro).

This is a great guide. Really want to go to New York myself one day. Hopefully when I earn more than minimum wage. :'-(
