Senja Island is located south-west of Tromsø and north to the Lofoten archipelago. It's less known (and visited) as the Lofoten, but it has some amazing landscapes to offer. This was without any doubt one of the most beautiful places I saw during my stay in Norway. This shot is a composition made with the 2 previous shots, simply stitched them together for a more amazing panoramic view...

    @hervinsyah here's what I found on Wikipedia about this name... seems kind of unsure though: "The meaning of the name is unknown, but it might be related to the verb 'sundra' ('tear, split apart') : The west coast of the island is torn and split by numerous small fjords. It might also be derived from 'Sandijōn' meaning '(area) of sand, sandy island' "
