Epic Road trip 2014

After leaving Barolo in Piemonte it was time for us to drive to Florence. We decided to stop in Portofino for lunch. What a strange place! Loved by the riches of this world it also attracts a lot of tourist who seem to come her for the chance to see someone famous. The place was seriously overcrowded and the prices were just beyond any expectations. After wondering around for a while trying to choose a place with some decent looking food ( cause most of it looked dreadful) we ended up choosing a place with really good food but almost had a heart attack after seeing the bill. it was one of those places which charges you 6 euros for espresso and 12 euros for the double espresso. So we came to a conclusion that Portofino must be nice if you have a yacht but we will definitely not be rushing back. Too much hustle.
